Those in the Toronto area! Sunday, October 26th! Save the Date!
Certain Days and the Toronto ABC are teaming up for the October letter writing night. It will be held at Beit Zatoun (612 Markham, near Bathurst and Bloor), starting at 7pm., ending at 10pm.
We will be screening Til The Cows Come Home by Lenny Epstein and hosting a discussion afterwards with Aric McBay, author of Deep Green Resistance.
There will be space for people to write letters to the prisoners who contributed to the beautiful 2015 Certain Days Calendar. If you have never written to a prisoner before, don’t worry, we can provide you with a tip-sheet as well as answer any specific questions you may have.
Accessibility info: Vegan snacks, and refreshments will be provided. Child care will also be available. Beit Zatoun has three steps, a small landing plus another step in the front entrance. We can provide a ramp to get into the building. The bathrooms are in the basement and there is a steep staircase. The event is free (calendars will be available to purchase for those who are interested)!
If you are at all uncomfortable in the space, organizers will be around to talk with you, if needed.
Lastly, even if you aren’t able to make it could you please share with your networks!
